I was born in rural northern lower Michigan and named after a Grateful Dead song. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English Language and Literature. My essays explore grief, nature, music, and Gen X nostalgia. My fiction is a small stash of sparkling weirds. My poetry, a pipe dream. You can find me haunting the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, hustling in metro Detroit, or dreaming of the Sonoran desert.
I prefer snail mail or carrier pigeon, but this will do.
This website is currently in development and the growing pains are real. Thank you for your patience. Mine is wearing thin.
